AliExpress is currently available at the platform level to users in the Philippines under the Terms of Use effective 1 July 2026, while individual services, features, sellers and shipping options can still vary by country and listing. For a Philippine buyer, the practical job is to verify the exact product's delivery availability, choose a trackable route, review the seller and return terms, and understand the import checks that may apply. Customs matters, but access, delivery and ordering are equally central to the page.

That does not mean every seller, product or variation can be delivered to a Philippine address. Set the Philippines as the destination and confirm shipping availability for the exact listing before checkout. Once the listing is available for your address, the next country-specific customs check is the PHP10,000 de minimis threshold.
PHP10,000 is the current de minimis threshold
The Bureau of Customs states that no duties and taxes are collected on imported goods with an FOB or FCA value of PHP10,000 or less. For goods above PHP10,000, the tax treatment depends on the product and the applicable tariff. BOC's current import guidelines explain the threshold.
Use that threshold as a customs check, not as a reason to split or manipulate declarations. Keep the AliExpress invoice and payment record so the actual transaction value is easy to show if the courier or customs examiner asks for proof.
The airway bill needs a specific and accurate description
BOC's online-shopping guidance says the value of the contents and a specific description should be declared correctly on the postage or airway bill. Vague descriptions and understated values can make a parcel harder to clear because customs needs to know what the shipment actually contains. The guidance also covers the airway-bill requirements.
Save the order confirmation, proof of payment and tracking number until delivery. If the declared value appears unusually low or the parcel is held for examination, those records help establish the purchase you actually made.

A held parcel usually becomes a courier-and-customs task
BOC says online purchases pass through customs clearance and may require physical examination or additional compliance. If a parcel is held, the courier is responsible for notifying the claimant, and the buyer can coordinate with both the courier and Customs to complete the required documents.
If duties or taxes are due, ask for an official receipt. The Bureau of Customs explicitly warns that it does not request government charges through deposits to private or individual accounts, so a payment demand with that pattern is a scam signal rather than a normal customs step.
Regulated goods can matter more than the PHP10,000 threshold
A low-value parcel can still face extra requirements if the goods are regulated or restricted. For a straightforward first order, choose an ordinary consumer product whose import requirements are clear instead of testing the process with goods that may need permits or additional examination.

Before checkout, make the parcel easy to clear and easy to deliver
Confirm the exact variation, goods value, seller history, recent reviews, shipping method and return terms. Use the recipient's complete Philippine delivery address and a reachable phone number; if the saved details need correcting, use the steps for entering a complete Philippine delivery address.
Track your parcel
Find out where your parcel is right now
The Philippines-specific habit is to make the customs side predictable before paying: know whether the goods are within the current PHP10,000 de minimis threshold, keep the declaration accurate and retain the transaction records until the courier has completed delivery. Use only the payment options shown for your account, and for a non-urgent purchase compare any promotion only after the exact shipping route, import treatment and return terms are clear.
